It’s Day 9! “Self-Regulation”

I am grateful today that I know myself and my body well enough to know when I need space. Sometimes you just need you and you. No one else. A bit of you-time to just self-regulate your emotions, think by yourself and come back to others as a better you.

Sunday is my day for laundry and meal prepping for the week. This is a short week for me because I am going out of town on a girls’ trip Friday.

After about forty minutes to myself and scrolling through my phone I felt much more centered and ready to finish my Sunday. Sunday feels like the last day of peace before the week starts so it makes sense I needed a few moments to myself today.

I prepped breakfast, and after dinner, I will cook chorizo sheet pan tacos. Mmmm. I am really excited for that.

Can you tell I love food? 🍱

If I don’t prep my food for the week, I end up eating a sandwich every day or running to 7-Eleven for taquitos.

Not a good look.
