End of the year Inspo

It’s that time of year again… you look up and everyone around you is reflecting and announcing their accomplishments for the year.

Meanwhile, you’re wondering, “what did I do this year”?

Did I accomplish anything? Crickets..

No……. I’m sure I accomplished something.

It’s a challenge to reflect through the year when your mind goes blank. Similar to how I feel when someone asks me what I want for my birthday.

“Um, I’ve never wanted anything in my life.”

Relax. First, you shouldn’t base what you have or have not done comparing to someone else. The only competition you should have is with yourself and your future YOU.

An accomplishment can be getting out of bed.

Facing your fears.

Setting boundaries.

Those are huge! If you feel blasé about your accomplishments, think on what you conquer every day.

Yesterday, I did not want to go to the gym. It’s been a little over a week and I knew I needed to get back to my routine. With all my birthday celebrations I have been eating the best either. We all slip up!

I went to the gym anyway and I got Subway after work. I felt really good about those decisions and felt amazing after my workout.

Make time for you.

If you want to accomplish a goal you still can. There is no time limit on that. There are 14 days left in the year (counting today), what are some goals you have been lacking?

Do you have a gym membership you aren’t using but know you need to?

Are you letting boundaries go to fit people’s behaviors?

‘You know how your cousin is, just let it go.’

No!!!!

Don’t let it go. Your mental health is more important than appeasing someone else’s feelings!

This is the season of joy and magic not trepidation and hurt feelings.

YOU deserve a Merry Christmas a joyous end of the year and it’s okay to tell people NO.

I implore you to inspire yourself to be the best version of you.

I implore you to pick You first.

Let’s end this year with a bang! 💫
